Snake Day

Get up close and personal with snakes like you never have before at Science Spectrum’s second annual ‘Snake Day’ on July 19th from 10am-2pm in Science Spectrum’s Atrium!

Slither on down to Science Spectrum and celebrate National Snake Day! Meet some of Science Spectrum’s resident snakes with an array of live snake shows. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on snake crafts, games, and experiments.

FREE Activities include:

• Live Snake Shows: Meet various types of snakes with our expert educators and learn about each snake’s diet, habitats, and behaviors.
• See Real Snake Eggs: Be among the first to observe real snake eggs produced by some of Science Spectrum’s resident snakes.
• Scales, Sheds, and Skulls: Discover and learn about all types of snake sheds and skull replicas.
• “Make a Snake” craft stations
• Various hands-on, snake-themed games and activities

Snake Day at the Science Spectrum is a FREE event and will be located in the Science Spectrum Atrium.
Standard museum and OMNI ticket rates still apply.

While you’re here, visitors can check out additional resident snakes on display in the museum’s collection of live animals and aquariums on the bottom floor of the museum.
