Join Science Spectrum for the Teddy Bear Repair event! Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal in need of care to the ExploraZone on the main floor of Science Spectrum Museum for a day of repair, care, and check-up fun!

Learn the science of “playing” with bubbles… BubbleFest is back at the Science Spectrum! Sat., Oct. 10th – 10:00am to 6:00pm
Looking for some good “clean” family fun? Back by “POP”ular demand, BubbleFest returns for another year at the Science Spectrum! Continuing the tradition of providing exciting entertainment and accessible science for families with kids of all ages. If you love to play with bubbles, join us Saturday, October 10th from 10am-6pm. Enjoy bubble fun with themed activities and great shows combining science, art, and imagination!
Silly Science Carnival
Celebrate Halloween at the Silly Science Carnival Thursday, October 29th from 10:00am-12:00pm at Science Spectrum Museum & OMNI Theater
A fun Fall and Halloween themed event just for children 18 months to 5 years of age. Games with guaranteed prizes, science crafts and demonstrations, spooky critters, and the ever popular costume parade make this a can’t-miss fall event!
Included with standard museum admission. Children 2 and under are FREE.
Spooky Science Carnival

Our annual spooky, not scary, family Halloween carnival is back for another year of “spooky, not scary”, safe family fun!! Science meets carnival games with guaranteed prizes, creepy critters, hands-on science experiments, and Spooky Science Shows round out a frightfully fun night of spooky, not scary, entertainment! The Spooky Science Carnival is recommended for families with children up to age 12. This event is included with your museum admission.
Parent’s Night Out – The Puzzle Factory – 11/06, Ages 6-12
Join us for a night of puzzles, games and creations! Design your own jigsaw puzzle using your unique art skills and the FabLab laser cutters. Take home your FabLab puzzle to enjoy whenever you’d like.
Lubbock Children’s Business Fair
The Lubbock Children’s Business Fair is back and better than ever this year! With 60 vendor booths and over 70 “kidpreneurs” at this year’s fair, you’ll want to mark your calendars for Saturday, November 14th from 10:30am-2:30pm!
