Description:

In collaboration with the National Weather Service and others, campers will learn all about weather and the different professions that study, analyze, or track the weather. From storm chasers to data analysists, there’s more to weather studies than meets the eye. Through hands-on experiments we’ll investigate why the wind blows, what is lightning, and create clouds or tornados. We will also take a private tour of the National Weather Service offices and see what it takes to predict the weather. This camp will blow you away! We will also watch Tornado Alley in the OMNI Theater!
